Tool Tag
Tool Tag is a uniquely designed high pressure high temperature
surface acoustic wave (SAW) tag for tagging down-hole tools with smaller
diameters than typical tubular. It is designed to withstand hydrostatic pressure of
up to 20,000 PSI, temperature up to -67ºF to 572º F and down-hole caustic Environments.
The tag is designed to be easily placed onto the down-hole tool by milling a groove
on the collar and secured by special epoxy.
